Recently, I popped in* for a quick visit to my shop in Soho to see how things were going. The young man I hired to look after the place while I attend to my duties here hadn't once turned the sign from "CLOSED" to "OPEN", exactly as I requested. It's so very refreshing when youths of today prove themselves capable of following such simple directions.

While I was in the area, I overheard a small group of young Muggles discussing something they called "the dubstep". I presume it's a dance of some sort, but if anyone knows any further details, I would be most obliged to hear about it. If it's at all like the gavotte, I would be quite interested in learning it.

I seem like the last person from my school year who's gotten a job at Hogwarts. It's strange being back, but I'm glad Dumbledore offered me the position.

It's probably a bit strange to have a new flying teacher and coach when we're already well into the quidditch season, but I've been a bit [there are several hesitant ink splotches] busy.

Anyways, I'm Cephas Captor, and flying lessons for first years will begin this upcoming week. Let's hope that you're easier to manage then Ministry coworkers.

You'd think after four years in this place nothing would surprise me anymore, but there I was staring at the moving tree that I somehow hadn't noticed until now, don't ask me how I didn't notice it before. I kind of took the warnings seriously to not go near the forest so I never really did, particularly considering I plan on dropping out of these Care of Magical Creatures classes as soon as I can, they don't do me any good at all.

Ugh. I don't know how you guys do it, not being immersed in this whole magic thing for the majority of life makes it really difficult to figure out this stuff or know what some people are talking about. It's like you're talking in a completely different language and it's bothersome every time I get lost amongst the words.

This sucks and I'm starting to think I should have just gone to military school instead, at least I'd know what they were talking about there...

I for one am glad the Ministry is actually showing some concern in what goes on in this place. If you ask me it's more than time. I'm glad Natasha Romanoff is back to the way she was and it's only kind of because I was jealous. Which isn't to say that I wasn't really jealous at first because Romanoff's weird and serious to the point of being kind of disturbing, so she's not supposed to be hotter than me. But then the more I really thought about it, the more I started to feel bad for her. I mean, she had all these borderline Neanderthals staring at her for two days and that's bad enough when you're 16. 13 year olds shouldn't have to deal with it. That's just creepy.

I guess being pretty is just something that shouldn't happen to you until you're ready to handle the consequences. That's probably why most 13 year olds are so weird and awkward looking.
