I hope everyone enjoyed themselves at the bonfire the other night and that no one else got their eyebrows blown off by the fireworks. Handling explosives, even fireworks, can be a bit deadly to those that don't know how to. Although one would hope you didn't hold them too close to your face after they were lit.
Just a reminder to my students that you have homework due next Tuesday on Catoblepas and their diet, habitat and why it's necessary to avoid them. I'm considering taking a few older students on a trip to my dragon ranch and letting them study dragons up close, or at least the younger hatchlings since the adults tend to be a bit testy.
Of course I'll need your parent's permission, but if you'd like to have this experience over summer, I'll discuss the necessary precautions and gear with you.
