Well, apparently you can lose points for telling professors that what they're teaching is, well, wrong.

But really, if there is a quicker way to do it, shouldn't they teach it? Okay, so it was a little more dangerous if done wrong, but hey, isn't that just the kinda incentive you need to make sure you do it right?

Didn't say anything, other than he was doing it the slowest way ever, then got up and showed him the better way to do it.

It's not my fault he doesn't take corrections well.

Apparently you can lose points for breathing, too. Professors are so big headed about being wrong. You'd think they'd get better at being right.

Fire's all a part of the creation process. And hey, words sound similar in latin, what kind of school uses a dead language, anyway? You just have to make sure you pronounce it right.

For the record, there's no proof that fire has anything to do with me.

All Magic schools use Latin, so you had better learn to pronounce things or get a head start on learning non-verbal spells.

I never said I had any problem pronouncing it, I'm just saying it's a dead language. I mean, hey as dead languages go, its fine. It's just that it's. Well, dead.

There's proof that I was not in that part of the room. And a class full of students and a professor who were also in the room. That could be counted as proof, to me at least.

Woah, hey. It's only dangerous if you say it wrong. Nothing I figure out is always dangerous on purpose.

But you're right, it would liven up a lot of the classes.

Well, yes, I would imagine that you could lose points for doing that. I don't think they really appreciate that sort of thing.

But you know, you'd also think they'd encourage student's creativity and drive to be at their best. And figuring out a better way, kind puts me a head above the rest, don't you think?

'A little more dangerous' isn't what I'd use to describe an explosion the size of half a classroom, Mr Stark.

Look, I've said it before. I didn't have anything to do with that, there's no proof.

I just gave proof of concept, did the spell and it worked. If someone else is jealous of what I can do and do it wrong, that's not my fault, you know.

And that's one reason why the teachers don't use that method to cast that spell. Done wrongly, the spell could've really hurt the caster or an innocent passer-by. I'm not saying that your way is wrong, but that the repercussions for short-cuts could be dangerous if carried out by less adept students.
