It might possibly be an overreaction, but his father would kill him if he somehow managed to tarnish the Zahhak family reputation, especially since they're known for being 'purists'. Finally, he settles on a fair simple, neutral response.]

I assure you, my class is far from trivial. There's nothing more important than defence, though some might argue that charms is the basis of all magic.

That being said, students have had a difficult time handling theory and an even worse time with practical demonstrations.
I'm sure you'll be able to handle it.
