Perspective: Ginger Engineer

Character: Montgomery 'Scotty' Scott (Will be a fifth year at the start of next year)
Mun: Otter
Plot specific: After Exam time?

You know what? With how the exams went, I think that my dad'll make good on letting me loose on Portsmouth's Naval Museum. Sure, not exactly something that even most of us muggle borns care about. But there are more than a few fine ladies there that I can't wait to get my eyes on.

So, what's everyone else going to be doing over summer.

We all have our vices. So, I take it you're hot for ships, huh?

This summer? Moving and being bored out of my mind.

You some kind of engineer geek?

Moving from Iowa, which is in the USA, to London. The moving parts not too boring, just the everything after that. London will be interesting for all of a week, then I still have the rest of the summer to waste.

Woah, yeah no, I didn't mean geek as a bad thing. It was just the best term to use there. I could have said obsessed, but I think that sounds worse. Like you're stalking ships like they're Jodi Foster.

Yeah, born and raised in the corn fields. So, where do you live then if you don't get to London often? I mean, the whole island of yours is like the size of a state here, seems an easy distance to travel often.

You like them busty and dangerous, huh?

[Takes a moment to actually look up a map to see the distance of Aberdeen and London]

Point taken. 16 hours is a bit excessive. So, traveling by magic isn't your style, huh?

Good to hear I won't be the only one with good taste at this school.

Yeah, my step-dad wasn't a big fan of magic, but hey, that's not a bad thing. I think muggles have funner forms of transportation anyway. I'm a fan of driving.
