Perspective: Ginger Engineer
Character: Montgomery 'Scotty' Scott (Will be a fifth year at the start of next year)
Mun: Otter
Plot specific: After Exam time?
You know what? With how the exams went, I think that my dad'll make good on letting me loose on Portsmouth's Naval Museum. Sure, not exactly something that even most of us muggle borns care about. But there are more than a few fine ladies there that I can't wait to get my eyes on.
So, what's everyone else going to be doing over summer.

Well, yes. Okay, I am. But there's nothing wrong with that, alright?
Oh, American? Suddenly I don't think I'm surprised anymore about the geek comment. Well London has a lot to say for itself. More than enough things to see and do if you ask me. Not that I get down there myself all that much.

Yeah, born and raised in the corn fields. So, where do you live then if you don't get to London often? I mean, the whole island of yours is like the size of a state here, seems an easy distance to travel often.

Oh, I'm an Aberdeen boy, which is as about as close to London as a cat is close to being a lion. Which means we don't have a direct train. I have to take a train to Glasgow, then a bus all the way into London. I don't know about you, but even I have better things to do with the 16 hour return trip, don't you think?

[Takes a moment to actually look up a map to see the distance of Aberdeen and London]
Point taken. 16 hours is a bit excessive. So, traveling by magic isn't your style, huh?

Well, I'm muggle born, and it makes mum, more than a little uneasy really. Not her fault, it's not her thing.
no subject
Yeah, my step-dad wasn't a big fan of magic, but hey, that's not a bad thing. I think muggles have funner forms of transportation anyway. I'm a fan of driving.
no subject
Well sure, driving would be pretty fun. But I'm more interested in what's under the hood over what to do behind the wheel.
