Character: The Psiioniic (Artollo Apemis)
Canon: Homestuck
Mun: James/Tri
Plot Specific: N
Alright, you little mixed group of magical disaster, just a heads up for the next class. Since variety is the spice of life, you get to choose just how to pass my next class from one of two ways. Generous, no?
Behind door number one, you get to write up an essay on using an unconventional area of magical study or spells in a fight. If you really need an example, here's one: using Care of Magical Creatures to raise up an army of Kneazles to conquer all of the British Isles. I'm sure Professor Vantas-Leijon could give you pointers on that particular, eheheheheh.
Behind door number two is something for the more physical of students, those who like doing a bit more spellwork than penwork. Last class we all went over the importance of the Shield Charm. Well, it's going to be the star again, as you must be able to cast a decent shield by the next time we meet. I will be testing the strength of it personally.
Now now, you don't have to worry. I won't throw you across the room with the force of whatever spell I use while I'm testing your shield.
I'm aiming to get someone in the lake. Nice weather for a swim.
Like usual, I'm available for any questions you might have about either assignment.

I'm not sure yet, really. Maybe something with herbology. Aren't some plants safe unless you mix them together?
Oh. I guess that's more of a question for the herbology professor. Sorry.

There are plenty of plants with dangerous effects to them, and some are dangerous just on their own. Magical ones are, heh, funny like that. I'm sure there should be plenty of examples, even in a first year book or something.

I have a lot of my cousin's text books from his fourth and fifth year already. I could look in those, too.
Moonseed. That makes a poison, right?

Hmmm, certainly sounds about right. But poisons are often for more subtle ways of combat. Do you think there's a way to use it in a more upfront kind of fight?

Oh. Well, there's Mandrakes.
