Hey, it's almost the anniversary of when the war ended, isn't it? I hope all the wizards and witches of the world are proud of being strong! It's important to fight for what you believe in!

Although it's funny that I say that in an English school... When my homeland fought to be free from England! Oh, well. I will not forget my pride, even here!

I also will not forget to go to Food Club next time! Maybe we'll make fish!

Hey, look, I'm fine with the Ministry and all that, and it's not that the rest of you haven't already whined about Snow enough, but really, what's his deal? I mean, I don't care about him taking away house points, and I don't care about what happened at camp, but what's with all the detentions? Does the guy really have that much of a stick up his ass, or are you guys just being real idiots around him? It's not my problem if you are, but if he's just a creep, I'll stay away from him.

(ooc| Quick notes: Santana is a pureblood; very openly so and very snotty about it. She is still very much in the closet in terms of being a lesbian.)

Seems whatever's going around has got people split up into two camps: those who are really put out and those who are having a pretty good time of it. Haven't seen much in the way of a middle ground.

My condolences to everyone who's having a hard time, but you can count me in with the people who're a fair bit chuffed by all this. My limp's barely bothered me all day. ~~Shame it probably won't last.~~

The weather has gotten very chilly lately! Of course I know this is because fall is just around the corner, I will still terribly miss summer. It is much easier to lie out in the sun during warm weather than it is during cold weather!

I'll have to start moving a lot of my potted plants inside or else they'll suffer from the change in temperature.

How is everyone so far with the new year starting? It seems like only yesterday we had our first classes! Soon the semester will be over in a blink of an eye.

Goodness, I'm not sure how I feel about this survival training! It sounds kind of scary.

I think I have other problems to deal with this year, anyway. Today I forgot where the restrooms closest to the astronomy tower were, and I was directed to the ladies' room again. Not to mention the fact that my robes are a bit baggy! I could have sworn they fit when I tried them on at Madam Malkin's...
