Character: Abed Nadir
Mun: Amanda

Does anyone ever feel like going to school here is just one big life lesson over how love and friendship conquer all? Or is that just me?

If it's just me then that's okay; I'm pretty used to it.

That's an interesting way to think about it, Abed!
One could say that about most educational programs though, don't you think?
What we ultimately learn is to depend on one another to grow as people!
stubbornskeptic: (I dunno...)

this made me go watch an ep of community when i saw it, btw |D

Well, one might argue that we have an awful lot of real magic too!
But I do agree that muggle television has a lot of stories based around banding together in a strange new place.
Hogwarts would certainly fit the bill, hoo hoo!

What exactly do you think we need to survive?
Other than all the homework, I mean.

Oh, maybe! Wizards do like books, after all.
But I think sometimes wizards don't like seeing that muggles are capable of their own sort of magic.
If that makes sense, I mean.
Television and movies can do some amazing things that most wizards wouldn't expect muggles to even be able to create an illusion of!
And I do get the feeling that they would get a little impatient with the detective films I love so much.
They know the quick and fast magical way to solve the mystery in seconds!
It takes away the magic if you don't know much about the muggle world as it really is, I think.

Hoo hoo, indeed!
I have to say, I wonder what it'd be like if I hadn't had exposure as a kid.
Having a foot into the muggle world was certainly interesting!
stubbornskeptic: (What.)

Abed, I'd appreciate it if you didn't put it that way.
It sounds like you're saying I'm stuffy already. :B
