Character: Sherlock Holmes
Mun: Elise
Plot specific: No
As I'm sure some of you know, school work is hardly engrossing. The tedium of a daily routine is surely not frustrating only to me. You all watch your Quiddich games and trade those frog cards to alleviate dullness. Personally, I find it is more engrossing to apply my mind to something of interest. Unfortunately, I find myself at the moment bereft of anything capable of holding my attention. Thus, I come to you all for possible subjects on which to focus myself.
If there are any inquiries please direct them at me. Nothing boring, please.
And before any of you ask, no. I will not do your homework for you. [The final sentence is added as a scribbled afterthought]

You'd like that.
I'd like that.
Yes, I think I shall.
no subject
...but I'm sure there won't any convincing you to stop now.
Try and not be too destructive this time?
no subject
Of course. Your deductions are... astute, as always. I am terribly bored as well, you see.
No promises.
no subject
At least hurry up with it, won't you?
I'm not going to be held responsible for any damage. You can serve those detentions alone.
no subject
In good time, Sherls, in good time. Wouldn't want you to be too ready.
If there is any damage, I assure you, the blame will be placed squarely... elsewhere.
no subject
If you take too long then I might be otherwise occupied, you know. I'm not about to drop everything else I may be doing to cater to your play time.
And then, perhaps, the accused party will ask me to prove their innocence.
Not that anyone usually listens. [Written in a smaller script with a harsher pressure on the quill - a bit frustrated?]

Oh I know you won't. But you'll want to. You will want to so badly that whatever you're working on at the moment will seem a boring chore. It will itch at you, rankle under your collar, be a persistent nagging in the back of your skull (your... real one. Under your skin. Not the one on your bedside.) that won't silence until you play my game.
And then I might just snatch it away from you without a trace. Oops.
They might, or they might blame you for making them the guilty party...~

YES.[scribbles, but still legible]Perhaps.
So you hope. Perhaps you're a bit desperate yourself. To get to me, to get my attention. You want me to have no choice but to look your way, to have nothing else that holds my interest but playing your little game.
However, you must know that for every taunt and threat that worms itself from your mouth my expectations raise higher. You know that I will get harder to distract and harder to impress.
[There is the smallest twitch of a smile on Sherlock's face.]
Do not disappoint me.
If that's the case, they can enjoy their detention.

But Sherly, I have your attention. I have you pawing at the gate, just waiting for me to start the race. It has already begun, you just don't realise it yet.
I know, and yet I persist in taunting you. Oh I must be ever so confident, mustn't I?
I should be telling you the same.
no subject
If it has already begun I have no reason to continue with this conversation.
You are either confident or equally desperate for a challenge. I'm leaning towards the latter.
It is not my job nor my concern to keep you entertained.
no subject
You say such things now, but I can read between the lines. "Please, Jim, won't you fix it for me?"
You do have a reason to continue - if you bore me, I might decide to treat you in kind. No fun games for poor Sherly, oh dear.
You admit you are desperate, then.
no subject
And then destroying them. Godzilla-like.
no subject
Or perhaps you are making a suggestion. Typically I engage in (what some have called) 'destruction' as an experiment.
What can one learn from destroying a mock city?
bluh I need a PB
