[This is going to be an action post for right now. Norman is avoiding the journal like the plague.

So instead there is a lost looking first year wandering the halls. He's actually incredibly lost and has no idea how to find one of his classes. He's not really asking for help but its kind of obvious he's getting frustrated.

Especially how one of the stair cases suddenly moves just as he was about to get on it.]

It usually doesn't take them too long to come back. [She looked above to the floor he was heading towards.]

[He is so not used to people talking to him. So he jolts a little. Its more alarming when its actually nonmalicious because he's just not used to that.]

Coraline looks up at the protest and notices the smaller boy taking a ride on the staircase. She calls up

"Don't worry about it! It'll come back around...eventually. Uh, do you want me to get word to your professor and let them know you might be late?"

They're wretchedly good for that. If you're trying to get to that hall up there, I can show you another staircase to take that is a bit more obliging to staying put.

[Flinches a little at there suddenly being someone behind him. He turns and looks, having to bring his gaze up. Norman was definitely small for his age, this guy was like a giant.]

[Wheee, Mabel might not be all that used to the school as some of the more experienced students, but she knows a first year when she seems them! Especially at the stairs haha. Don't mind her just coming right up next to him and smiling.]

[Norman sees the guy on the stairs and wonders quietly to himself just what this guy is up to. And then he jumps off the stairs. Norman shouts to him- was this guy nuts?? and scrambles over once he lands. At least he was okay.]

[This first year is also about to get on said staircase as it suddenly moves. She stares after it incredulously for a moment before turning to face the boy next to her.]

Do they always do this?
