I can't wait to get back to school. There's supposed to be loads of new astronomical events coming up soon, and the towers at Hogwarts are one of the best places to observe the stars. Open skies, high vantage points. They're perfect!

I was even able to find a telescope in Diagon Alley that lets me record the sky as I use it. I'm really excited to use it. Just a few more days until I can, now!

Really? I suppose I am just terribly subtle.

Really? Are you sure you're thinking of science? I mean, left is a great direction, but there's physics, biology, geology, chemistry...Not to mention all the different subsets. Organic chemistry, inorganic, astrophysics, and so on.

Well there's going to be multiple events over the course of the school year. Do you really want to go to all of them?

If so, I'm just going to go ahead and warn you I wouldn't be very good fun. This is for science, not recreation.

Not at all. I'm planning on tracking the events, and seeing what correlations there are between them.

Why do you like stars so much?

There's more than just stars in space. Black holes, supernovas...It's all so unknown and fascinating! You don't think so?

It's interesting, but I never got to learn about it in detail. My teachers were more concerned with things that happened on Earth.

I'm not quite sure if we have a telescope powerful enough to view Uranus when it comes into opposition but I imagine you can give it your best shot.

I wouldn't mind taking a look at that telescope if you'd be so kind. I've been meaning to get one myself.
