Most of the other ghosts don't have journals. Either their journals have simply disintegrated or been lost over the centuries, or they never had one to begin with. My 18 years are a drop in the bucket in comparison.

He is my twin brother. Are you one of his students? He is an excellent professor, in my opinion. I have sat in on his classes before, without letting him see me.

They could, at that, but many have become so used to their current way of afterlife. All of the persons whom they might have wanted to maintain contact with are long deceased, and it hurts to develop new attachments.

Some of us do choose to make friends with one another, yes. Others are still bemoaning their fate even still today. I'm not sure which category I yet fall into, given my lingering connections with the realm of the living.
