~~My landlord~~ ~~My niece~~ ~~My friend~~ Nani sent me the most fascinating muggle education device! It's called a "view finder", and it shows you little picture of muggle things when you look through it! It's wonderful!

Except Nani didn't say it was an education device, she said it was a toy, but clearly she miswrote, as the "view finder" is highly educational! So far, I've learned that muggle toys actually have magical properties and come to life when muggles aren't around, that in muggle areas, deer and rabbits can be found ice-skating, and that muggle children enjoy dancing with bears!

All of my students are welcome to stop in my classroom during lunch hours this week to try the "view finder" and learn something new!

Oh, you worked for the Ministry. My apologies, then, that does indeed make you quite the expert. Do you live amongst Muggles, in a highly Muggle town, and refrain from using magic for months at a time during the summer?

I do indeed! I have been for quite some time now, though the exact length is escaping me at the moment. You could almost say I double as a Muggle during the Summer, but that isn't entirely accurate. Sometimes I find I do need to use magic, but it isn't all that often, and for minor things.

Wow, that sounds fascinating! I bet you've learned so much!

I'd like to think so. But I'm sure I could never match your expertise, Professor. But maybe you'd like to pop by my classroom sometime and watch one of my classes? I'm sure you would find it enjoyable, and the students wouldn't mind.

I teach Home Economics, by the way. I'm not sure if you knew that. But if you worked for the Ministry, I'm sure they filled you in on all the details of who works here!

Oh, well, I don't know about that... But I'd love to visit your class sometime! Home Economics sounds like fun!

Oh, it is very fun! I think the students really quite enjoy it. The tea and hot chocolate I serve them might have something to do with it, admittedly. But I'm sure they enjoy the lessons just as much!

Really? I always thought the Ministry was quite thorough in its job training!

They are, but there was no guide on what to do when you're stuck with a LUNATIC hunting down a WILD CHILD who's running around HEXING PEOPLE and you have to modify everyone's memory and it's a DISASTER.

Sort of caused some extra trouble.

Well it's hardly your fault. They should have definitely included that during training.

What I want to know is how that... That CRAZY-HEAD ended up in charge of a kid!

The Ministry should be prepared for anything.

And that would certainly be a nice thing to know, but sometimes life just has an unanswered mystery! And this looks like one of them.
