I've been here for six years, and I still can't believe you guys don't have television. Or movies.

Do you know how frustrating it is to try to talk to someone about The Sound of Music and they just stare at you like you've grown a second head? I mean, I know you guys are all wizards, but that movie is a classic!

I really think there should be a muggle culture education class. That's required, because most of you need to watch something.

Not to mention the fact that it's completely ignorant of the Muggle life.

I know! You'd think the younger ones would be open to learning about Muggles, but they're just as bad, if not worse, than the stodgy old teachers.

The whole thing is completely ridiculous, and, as a Muggleborn, I find it somewhat offensive.

They're forcing us to be completely cut off from the world we know, but most of them claim to support Muggles and Muggleborns.

It really is, this complete and utter ignorance towards Muggle ways. Asides from the ones actively hating and judging those from Muggle families, "purebloods" who say they like Muggles still treat Muggleborns like some they're bizarre mutants.

Perhaps the school should look into better ways of bridging the gap between those born and raised in the wizarding world, and those from the Muggle side of things. It would probably alleviate some tension between houses and students.

The school definitely needs to make a bridge there, I agree. Maybe we should take it up with the Headmaster; I don't think the teachers really care.

Unfortunately for you, I don't think Julie Andrews would want to be anywhere near your favorite things.

Wizards wouldn't know good music if it smashed them in the face. Or at least not wizards not from Muggle families.

I've noticed.

It would be nice if electronics worked here, at the very least so other students could learn about them, because a lot of other students can't seem to comprehend even the simplest technology. It's kind of like they're all crabby old folk who are about to start yelling at kids to get off their lawn, but without the wrinkles.
