I talked to an owl today! [tiny, like a secretive whisper.] He was perched up on the highest branch, but he wasn't resting. T'was fun to listen to him, even if he was running his gob about all the noise now.

Oh. That makes sense, I guess. We really are pretty noisy. I bet he hates Quidditch.

I didn't think to ask. Maybe if I see him again, I'll ask him what he thinks about our Quidditch matches.

A very prickly one, he was! He didn't tell me his name.

Owls can be quite grumpy sometimes! My pet owl is like that too, but he's very loyal and I know I can depend on him to be there for me.

I wouldn't know... I've never had a pet before, not even a puffskein!

I've got my owl so I can send letters to my family and I've got three dogs at home. Animals are very good friends; they don't judge you for the things you've done or what you are and they're very loving to those who care for them.

Yes! Auntie's not letting me get a pet until next year, so I just talk to the chickens. They're not very interesting, but they're nice enough.

I wish I could be surrounded by animals all the time.
