Soooooo I guess it goes without saying that there's weird things happening around the school again. Well, I mean it is a magic school so I guess I'm stating the obvious here.

This is like last year.

Um...if anyone sees multiple mes around, could you direct them to the library? I'm looking up spells that could've caused this and the more hands the better it'll be.

I sure hope not.

Although last year I kind of did it on purpose. Whatever crazy is happening right now affected me somehow.

I don't understand. Why would you make multiple yous on purpose? Having extra yous around accidentally is bad enough.

I...kind of wanted to try impressing a girl at the Yule Ball.

So why would you want to make nor yous? What if she started spending more time with the other yous than [inkblot] you?

That's like having her leave with someone else, but ten times worse.

Well, there's this other guy that likes her and I wanted to get her attention without him getting in the way. So I found a spell for multiplying yourself and got them to help me distract him...

It sounds dumb, huh?

Dumb is an understatement. If they're all you, they're all going to like this girl, right? So what's going to stop them from competing for her attention too?

How many yous did you make anyway?

That's not really how cloning works. Sure at their core they're still me but they've got different parts of my charming personality.

Roughly 14? Like I said, they're numbered.

Okay. But they're all still you and they're all still at the ball where she's probably going to see them. And if there's 15 of you at the yule ball and one of this other guy, she's going to pay more attention to him because he's different. So having 14 other yous at the yule ball is really just like showing up in the same outfit as 14 of your friends, but even worse.

I guess that makes sense.

In any case it's done and dusted. She's dating the other guy now.
