Okay! Since fall term is going to start up in about a month, I should ask: potential roommates! What kind of candy do you like?

Before anyone asks, no, I will not be turning up with pink hair this year. Mum banned me from the workshop and put a spell on the door. She's also put my wand in there, so there's not any way I can get to it till I'm on the train.

I loved the pink hair! Mum said it was 'getting too much attention', though. I don't know what she means, though. There was that Metamorphmagus on the Swiss team at the Quidditch World Cup that kept changing appearance every match! If they could change everything every time they went on the pitch, I don't see why I can't come to school with pink hair.

That's a good point, especially since there are also Metamorphmagus who aren't famous but are still fine, but too much attention in the wrong way is dangerous, sometimes. Although I wouldn't think pink hair would cause the wrong sort of attention...

But, anyway, she's your mum, so I'm sure she only wants what's best!

Exactly! It would change back to being blond eventually, once the potion wore off. Or once I took an antidote to it. No harm done at all! It's very safe.

I guess. But Mum should know how safe it is! Our family's been brewing potions for as long as anyone can remember.

Well I suppose you could do it once you're at school. It wouldn't be too difficult I think.

I just need to see if I can remember what all is in that potion. Pomegranate seeds, a bit of peppermint...

If you know the name I can find it. I could even make the potion if I have all the things here. The color of your hair shouldn't be an issue at school, if you're a good student and do well, right?

It's a Colorblast Potion - would it be in the books there?

That's definitely true. I've always had top marks! What Mum doesn't know won't hurt her, so long as I change it back before going home for holidays.

Knowing my mum, she probably wants me to stay blond for a while.

You could just use a potion or spell for it. It's how I keep my hair blue.
Surprisingly my Mom was okay with me having blue hair. Really weird since she freaks out about every other thing.
